Anthony was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1944, and later graduated from Cushing Academy in 1948.
A proud veteran of World War II, Anthony served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Little Rock. Following the war, he participated in a six-month goodwill tour of South America, an experience he carried with pride throughout his life.
Anthony dedicated much of his professional life to serving fellow veterans as Milford’s Veterans’ Services Officer and Veterans Agent. In that role, he assisted veterans and their families throughout Milford, Hopedale, Hopkinton, Holliston, Medway, and Norfolk. His commitment to helping those who served their country spanned decades and continued until his retirement in 2011.
He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl DeLuca and her husband David of Uxbridge, and Suzanne Kowalczyk and her husband John of Mendon; his son, Robert Mastroianni and his wife Judi of Franklin; and his cherished grandchildren, Nina DeBassio and her husband John of Malden, Lea Trikur and her husband James of Long Beach, New York, Gina DeLuca of Arlington, Virginia, Anthony Mastroianni of Medway, and Molly Mastroianni of Medway.
Anthony was also blessed with a great-grandson, Silas Trikur, and is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Gary Schultz of Upton.
Known for his dedication to public service, his love for family, and his devotion to the veteran community, Anthony leaves behind a legacy of compassion, integrity, and commitment to others.
Funeral services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anthony’s memory may be made to the Oliva Fund for Cancer Care located at 14 Prospect Street in Milford, and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located at 501 St. Jude Place in Memphis.
Anthony’s life was marked by service, dedication, and love for his family and community. He will be remembered with great respect and affection by all who knew him.
