Peggy Marie Rusak Fowler, 62, of Milford
1964 - 2026

Peggy was the beloved daughter of Julianne and Alexander Rusak and is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Fowler; her sister, Susan Read; her children, Alexandra, Sabrina, and Ethan Fowler; and her cherished dogs, Zoë, Jameson, and Bailey.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Peggy spent the latter half of her life in Millville, where she built a life centered around family, friendship, and service to others. She worked as a systems engineer before later serving in an administrative role with the Bellingham Public Schools.

Above all else, Peggy was a devoted wife and mother. She will be remembered for the countless sacrifices she made for her family, the wisdom and humor found in her famous “Peggy-isms,” and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her life was defined by selflessness, always placing the needs of those she loved before her own and demonstrating what true devotion looked like every day.

Peggy had a unique and joyful spirit. She loved all things purple and had a special affection for Winnie the Pooh. She preferred her movies in black and white and her favorite beverages in shades of purple—whether it was a glass of grape Crush or a glass of Malbec. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor made her easy to love, and she left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was deeply connected to her community, her friends, and her family, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Her family finds comfort in imagining Peggy somewhere peaceful, swimming with the dolphins she loved so much.

Funeral services and burial will be private.

Peggy’s legacy of love, generosity, laughter, and unwavering dedication to her family will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
