FRANKLIN – Franklin residents are now subject to stricter outdoor watering rules as the town continues its water conservation efforts. Under the updated restrictions, households may only water outdoors one day per week, matching their regular trash collection day.
Residents without Franklin trash service are asked to water on the same day as the nearest town trash customer. In addition, irrigation systems may not be used between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., although hand watering remains permitted at any time. Officials encourage residents to review the full guidelines on the Franklin Department of Public Works website.
