Charlotte M. (Tredeau) Taddei, 80, of Milford
1946 - 2026

Born in Milford, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Charles A. Tredeau and Yolanda (Tumolo) Tredeau. She attended the former St. Mary’s Grammar School and graduated from St. Mary’s High School with the Class of 1963. She later earned her nursing degree from the David Hill Fanning Nursing School in Worcester, affiliated with St. Vincent Hospital.

Charlotte dedicated her entire professional life to caring for others through nursing. She began her career at Milford Hospital before working alongside the late Dr. John Farrell. She later served as a registered nurse at the former Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick and in the office of Dr. Steven Taraborelli. Charlotte ultimately fulfilled her dream of working in obstetrics at Framingham Union Hospital, helping welcome countless new lives into the world.

Outside of her career, Charlotte was a talented needlepoint artisan who created many beautiful pieces throughout her life. More than anything, however, she cherished time spent with her family. Her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by her children: Joseph V. Taddei and his wife Julia of Douglas, Christina M. Taddei of Millis, and John L. Taddei and his wife Rose of Geneva, Florida.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Scott Taddei of Oregon, Alexander Taddei of Mendon, Matthew Taddei and his wife Raquel of California, Samantha Taddei, Faith Taddei, Grace Taddei, and Anna Taddei, all of Geneva, Florida; and her cherished great-granddaughter, Scarlett Taddei of Mendon.

Charlotte is further survived by her siblings, Harris Tredeau and his wife MaryJane of Dennis, Robert Tredeau and his wife Judy of Upton, and Charles Tredeau Jr. of Ventura, California; her sister-in-law Wendy Tredeau of Milford; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Louis Tredeau, who passed away in 2014.

Charlotte will be remembered for her compassion, dedication to nursing, artistic talents, and above all, the love she shared with her family.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place.

A funeral service will be held at the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home in Milford on a date and time to be announced.
