FRANKLIN – Franklin Department of Public Works officials say a broken water main on Lincoln Street was responsible for a temporary water shutdown Wednesday.
The line has since been repaired and service restored. Residents experiencing discolored water are encouraged to visit FranklinMA.gov for instructions on how to properly flush their household water lines.
