HOLLISTON – The Town of Holliston recently marked the groundbreaking of its newest Habitat for Humanity home project, continuing a longstanding partnership focused on expanding affordable housing opportunities in the community.
Town officials say the project represents Holliston’s 14th collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, helping local families achieve homeownership through community partnerships and support.
The town also recognized its state partners for their continued commitment to affordable housing initiatives, along with the Holliston Housing Trust, which provided $150,000 in grant funding that helped make the property purchase possible.
Officials say the project highlights what can be accomplished when local government, nonprofit organizations, and state leaders work together to strengthen communities and create opportunities for residents.
