MILFORD – A Milford man accused of possessing child pornography is reportedly hospitalized after missing a scheduled court appearance last week. Authorities say Hugo Ventura was released on bail following his arrest Tuesday, but failed to appear in court the following day as required.
According to the Milford Daily News, Ventura’s attorney later contacted the court after a warrant was issued and confirmed that Ventura was in the hospital, adding that he is expected to appear once released. Ventura was arrested following a joint investigation between Milford Police and the State Police Cyber Crime Unit.
