MILFORD – A Milford man is scheduled for arraignment today in connection with a deadly assault at the Birmingham Court complex. Authorities say John J. Bonnell was arrested for “assault with intent to murder” after an incident that unfolded Friday.
Detectives from Milford Police and State Police responded after reports of residents hearing screaming, though officials say no 911 call was made until later that morning. The victim, Michael Albro of Medway, later died at a hospital on Saturday, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
