He was the devoted husband of the late Lillian E. (Casey) LaRosa, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage until her passing in 2022.
Born in Boston on September 14, 1935, Nick was the son of the late Paolo LaRosa and Grace (Bombaci) LaRosa. He was raised in South Boston and graduated from Charlestown High School.
In 1963, Nick and Lillian made their home in Franklin, where they raised their six children. In 2015, they relocated to Marco Island, Florida.
Nick spent his entire career working as an electrician, including many years operating his own business. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting in 1953 during the Korean conflict.
He enjoyed an active life and had many interests, including golfing, woodworking, and spending time with friends.
Nick is survived by his children: Robert LaRosa and his wife Ann of Franklin; Debra Karas and her husband Peter of Blackstone; Steven LaRosa and his wife Laura of Port Charlotte, Florida; Susan LaRosa of Hopedale; Scott LaRosa and his wife Robin of Franklin; and Patrick LaRosa and his wife Leslie of Franklin.
He was the proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren, including Joshua and Eric LaRosa, who predeceased him, and is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
His legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for family will live on for years to come.
