MILFORD – Residents will have the opportunity to safely dispose of unused medications during DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day tomorrow. The Milford Police Department will host a drop-off site at the Milford Senior Center from 10 a.m. to noon, with collection taking place outside the front entrance.
Officials say the event helps address a major public safety concern, as unused medications in homes are highly susceptible to misuse and abuse. During the last event, authorities collected 286 tons of expired and unused drugs across Massachusetts.
