Born in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Theresa (Meroli) Creasia. Louis was raised in Mendon before making his home in Bellingham in 1976.
A proud Vietnam Era veteran, Louis served his country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he built a long career as a mechanic with Stop & Shop, where he worked for 35 years and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He was also a member of the American Legion in Franklin.
Louis enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and cooking, but above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Karen E. (Straight) Creasia, and his children, Cindy Bisset of Bellingham; Jennifer Chiappone and her husband Chad of Blackstone; and Louis Creasia of Worcester. He was a proud “Papa” to Matthew, Nathan, and Jonathan Bisset; Caden and Brynlee Chiappone; and Katlyn Kieler.
He is also survived by his siblings, Theresa Twist of Franklin, James Creasia of Bellingham, and Francis Creasia of Bellingham, along with many nieces and nephews.
Louis was predeceased by his siblings, John, Joseph, Nicholas, and Matthew Creasia; Eleanor Hurd; Elvira Cassinelli; Mary Bracio; and Jacqueline Lomuscio.
The funeral will be held on Friday, April 24th, 2026 at 9:00 AM from Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home, 46 Water Street, Milford, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main Street, Milford.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 23th, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Louis’s memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or to a charity of one’s choice.
