She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family, all of whom will remember her for her generosity and the deep care she showed to everyone around her. She had a unique ability to make others feel welcomed, supported, and truly loved.
Yan was vibrant and full of energy, known for her outgoing personality and her ease in connecting with others. She had a lifelong passion for physical activity, participating in gymnastics during her college years and later running marathons, where she earned recognition for her accomplishments.
She also enjoyed gardening, tending to flowers, knitting, traveling—especially to coastal destinations—and, most of all, spending meaningful time with her family.
