1954 - 2026
Born to the late John “Jack” Saucier and Catherine (Bruce) Saucier, Marie lived a life defined by warmth, generosity, and a deep love for those around her. She shared 52 years of marriage with her husband Joe, building a home filled with laughter, traditions, and unwavering support.
Marie was a proud and loving mother to Adam and his wife Heather, Ethan and his wife Lynn-Ann, Ryan and his wife Alisa, and Marc. She was also a cherished grandmother to Jared and his wife Marissa, Kayla and her husband Sulayman, Jillian, Cameron, Nathan, Liam, and Makenna. Her joy continued to grow with the arrival of her two great-grandchildren, Lukas and Griffin.
She is also survived by her sisters, Annette Richards and Suzanne Irons; her brother, Stephen Saucier; and many nieces and nephews.
Family was at the center of Marie’s life. She found great happiness in hosting gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren, visiting with loved ones, and enjoying breakfasts with her cousins. An avid baker, she loved sharing her recipes and bringing people together through food. Her kitchen was a place filled with warmth, celebration, and lasting memories.
Marie’s legacy lives on through the traditions she created, the love she gave so freely, and the family she leaves behind.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 15 at 10:30 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon Street, Upton. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
