Joanne worked for many years as a secretary at Process Systems International in Westborough. Following her retirement, she continued to serve others as a healthcare provider with Primary Home Care in Milford.
Born on October 18, 1934, in Lewiston, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Reginald W. and Patricia B. (Daignault) Anderson. She was a graduate of Portland High School in Portland, Maine. Joanne previously lived in Bellingham before settling in Milford, where she resided for the past 47 years. She was also a member of the Uxbridge Red Hat Society.
In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her children, Lynn A. Shannon and her husband Peter, Scott W. Haskell, Lisa Cora, and Kevin Haskell. She also leaves behind five grandchildren—Jerard Haskell and his wife Samantha, Jenna (Haskell) Bushnell and her husband Jake, Brian Haskell and his wife Katie, Adam Haskell, and Amber Shannon—as well as seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Sylvia Whiting, Sandra Babcock, David Anderson, Linda (Garuti) Anderson, and Bonnie Burris.
Joanne was predeceased by her grandson, Kyle Haskell; her siblings Donald Anderson, Beverly Percy, Barbara Rogers, and Alayne Hines; and her cousins June McGinley and Gloria Reynalds.
