1942 - 2026
Born on October 10, 1942, in Milford, Massachusetts, Nicholas was the son of the late Nicholas and Jennie (Busconi) Tassone.
Nicholas proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era as a Combat Medic. Following his military service, he worked for several years as a Mental Health Assistant for the State of Westborough.
He was an active member of the Sons of Italy Lodge in Milford and was also involved in two prayer groups, Vision of Peace and Servants of the Holy Spirit. Nicholas enjoyed traveling, especially vacationing in Aruba with his wife.
In addition to his wife, Karen, he is survived by his children: Nicholas Tassone Jr. and his wife Nancy of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Robert Tassone and his wife Christine of East Haddam, Connecticut; Daniel Plante and his wife Mary of Franklin; David Plante and his wife Tina of Burlington, Vermont; and Hiedi Gallerani and her husband Joseph of Mendon. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Nicholas was predeceased by his children Dorothy Marie Tassone and Theodore Tassone, as well as his brother, Louis Tassone.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Saint Stephen Parish, 221 Concord Street, Framingham, Massachusetts. Calling hours will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery on Medway Road in Milford.
