Jeannette (Gaskill) DeSalvio, 90, of Mendon, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Cornerstone at Milford.
Born on April 21, 1935, in Milford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Carlton and Esther (Leas) Gaskill.
Jeannette dedicated more than 40 years of her career to Milford Federal Savings Bank. She began as a bank teller, later advancing to head teller, and eventually moved into customer service, where she served as a manager. Earlier in her career, she was also employed by the former Stylon Company in Milford.
She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including baking, shopping, and feeding birds.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Keefe-DeSalvio and her husband Jason of Mendon; her granddaughter, Kelcey Kleya; her sister, Joyce Kut of Hopedale; her stepson, Donald DeSalvio of Maine; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Ethel Accorsi, Carlton Gaskill, and Richard Gaskill.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford. Additional visiting hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Burial will follow at Swandale Cemetery on Hartford Avenue in Mendon.
