FRANKLIN – More than 30 women participated in Old Colony Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Day last Saturday, coming together at a build site in Franklin. Volunteers are working to convert the former South Franklin Congregational Meeting House into a home for a local woman and her children.

The effort is part of a long-standing initiative supported by Habitat for Humanity International since 1991. Old Colony Habitat, a women-led organization, saw strong community turnout, with its board president describing the day as “an inspiring day.”
