MILFORD – Another recent e-bike crash involving a teen has Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino urging parents to have conversations with their children about bike safety. Early Wednesday morning, a 15-year-old lost control of his e-bike and collided with a car near Highland Street, though no one was hurt in the incident.

Tusino noted this marks “the seventh e-bike related incident in ten days”, raising serious concerns about a growing trend. He emphasized the need for better education around the significant safety risks associated with e-bikes, warning that if the pattern continues, “it will unquestionably result in a tragedy.”
