MILFORD – Students at Milford’s Stacy Middle School will benefit from a new STEM-focused program supported by a $12,000 grant.
The funding from the One8 Foundation will support “Medical Detectives,” part of the Project Lead the Way curriculum. The program allows students to take on the role of investigators through hands-on labs focused on topics like genetics, vital signs, disease outbreaks, and the human nervous system.
The grant will also support teacher training, as well as classroom materials and equipment.
