Mr. David W. Cheschi, 60, of Milford
1966 - 2026

David was born in Rochester, New Hampshire, the son of the late Louis J. Cheschi Jr. and Dianne L. (Miller) Chambers. He attended Milford public schools and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1983. He later studied electronics at a local community college.

After graduating, David began working at Waters Associates in Milford. However, his true passion was always found on two wheels. What started as a childhood fascination with dirt bikes grew into a lifelong career. David turned that passion into a business, founding and operating Dirt Cycle Salvage—first in Hopedale and later in Mendon—as well as Stator Corporation in Mendon.

Whether repairing a stator, riding trails, buying, selling, or collecting motorcycles and parts, David was always in his element. He was widely respected for the knowledge and expertise he brought to his craft.

Outside of work, David enjoyed playing poker and was known as a skilled Texas Hold ’em player who competed in many tournaments. Many of those games took place at Foxwoods, a place that held special meaning for him and his family.

Foxwoods also served as the setting for many cherished family vacations. While David enjoyed the camaraderie of the poker room, his children fondly remember those trips for the simple joys of room service, afternoons by the pool, time in the arcade, and the excitement of the motion movie ride. Those memories remain among the most treasured moments they shared together.

David leaves behind a legacy of hard work, a passion for riding, and a family who will forever carry his spirit with them.

He is survived by his three children, Sara Cheschi of Millville, Stevie Lee Cheschi and her partner Andrew Redquest of Norwood, and David Cheschi of Milford. He also leaves behind his three grandchildren, Aidin Rawlinson, Adalyn Rawlinson, and Colton Redquest.

David is also survived by his former wife, Carol A. (Grant) Cheschi of Milford, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and several aunts.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Steven E. Cheschi and Robert S. Cheschi.

Relatives and friends are invited to extend their condolences to the family at Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street in Milford, on a day and time to be announced.
