MILFORD — A Milford man is being held on $10,000 bail after police say he tried to stab his roommate Sunday afternoon.
Milford Police responded to a home on Fells Avenue where the alleged victim told officers that Alexandre Leite grabbed a large kitchen knife and threatened to kill them and members of their family. According to police, the two struggled over the knife before the alleged victim was able to get to a safe location and call 911.
Leite had left the home by the time officers arrived but was located about 20 minutes later. He is charged with Assault with Intent to Murder and other related offenses.
