The BVT boys hockey squad dominated Monty Tech Tuesday night, rolling to a 7-0 victory behind a balanced offensive attack and strong puck movement. Max Pilkington led the way with a hat trick, while Ethan Lamoureux, Trey Brodeur, Drew Shanahan, and Jamus Greenstein each added goals. Max Krauss dished out two assists as BVT controlled play throughout the contest.

Blackstone Valley’s depth showed as several players contributed to the scoring, and the Beavers limited Monty Tech’s chances. The win improves the Beavers’ form; they are now 4-2 over their last six matches. Most recently, Blackstone Valley lost a tight 3-2 game at Westfield last Saturday, a result that made Tuesday’s dominant performance especially satisfying.

BVT will head to Auburn this Saturday at 5 PM in what should be an advantageous matchup on paper; the Rockets have dropped five straight games. That said, Auburn beat Blackstone Valley 4-3 in mid-December, so the Beavers know this will still be competitive. BVT will rely on its puck movement and offensive contributors like Pilkington and Krauss to produce another strong showing on the road.
