MEDWAY – The Medway Public Library has announced the appointment of a new Assistant Director and Youth Services Librarian. Sam began working at the library in mid-September on a temporary basis as the Children and Youth Services Librarian and quickly became a key member of the library team.
Sam is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where they earned a Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies and were recognized as an emerging professional in the School Library Media Program. Library officials say that since September, Sam has led a major overhaul of the Medway Public Library’s Youth Department.
