MILFORD — A Milford man has been arrested on multiple charges after witnesses reported he struck several vehicles while driving through Hopedale and Milford late last week. The incident unfolded around midnight Monday when Hopedale Dispatch received multiple calls from South Main Street reporting a pickup truck hitting parked cars.
Police say two Hopedale officers located the truck about an hour later and were able to conduct a traffic stop. The driver was taken into custody and charged with operating under the influence, leaving the scene of a property-damage accident, negligent operation, and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
No injuries were reported, but police say the investigation remains ongoing.
