MEDWAY – A neonatal nurse from Medway who has been fighting ovarian cancer has been given a gift to lift her spirits — tickets to the upcoming Super Bowl in San Francisco.
Shelly Sepulveda, a devoted New England Patriots fan, recently spent time on the sidelines at the Patriots–Chargers playoff game. According to Boston 25, she met Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his wife, who surprised her with tickets to the Super Bowl.
Sepulveda is also a big Boston Celtics fan, and the team recently sent her a basketball signed by the entire roster. The gestures have been described as a powerful show of support as she continues her fight against cancer.
