HOPKINTON – This morning at 9:30 AM, “Project Just Because” re-opened their warehouse’s doors to Massachusetts residents. With the help of volunteers and donations from the community, this non-profit from Hopkinton offers food, clothes, toys, and other donated items for families in financial need.

Started in September 2004, “Project Just Because” is a 501(c)3 charity whose mission is to serve the needs of Massachusetts residents, specifically those with financial struggles. According to the non-profit’s financial director, Karen Regan, the group was able to distribute over 33,000 toys to families across the state through local community events and donation drop-offs.
