NORTHBRIDGE — A man who was killed after being struck by a car in Northbridge last week has been identified by police as William Hewett of Uxbridge. Authorities say the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on December 10 on Providence Road.
Northbridge Police and the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council continue to investigate the incident. Officials say Hewett was pronounced dead at the scene when first responders arrived. Police also confirmed that the driver involved remained at the scene and has been cooperating with investigators. At this time, no charges have been filed.
