MILFORD — An 18-year-old Milford man was taken to a hospital following a Tuesday evening incident in which he was struck by an SUV near the intersection of Main Street and Water Street. Investigators say it appears the man was standing in the roadway attempting to direct a box truck that was backing out of a parking lot.
Video released by Milford Police shows the incident happened at dusk, with the SUV’s headlights on as it approached the area. Police say the vehicle did not stop, and the man attempted to jump out of the way but was still hit. There is no word at this time on whether any charges will be filed.
