MILFORD – The Milford High School After Prom Party Inc. welcomes the local community to their annual “Gallery of Arts & Crafts Fair” on Saturday, November 29th from 9 AM to 2 PM, located at the MHS Café Entrance in 31 West Fountain Street. With over 60 vendors, guests can expect an exciting event that will help raise money for the town’s food pantry and high school senior after prom party.
Vendors at the fair feature local crafters, artists, local businesses and organizations. Guests can expect a variety of homemade items for sale, including jewelry, crafts, wood carvings, homemade food, baked goods, and kids items.
This year, the fair will also feature special holiday activities. Guests will be able to buy live wreaths and take photos with Santa Claus himself.
Adult Admission is $5 or $3 with a non-perishable food or toiletry item. As for students, admission will be $1, and children under age 10 will be able to go in for free. Admission funds will help fundraise the 2026 MHS Senior After Prom Party and Milford Daily Food Food Pantry. Non-perishable items donated by guests at the fair will also go to the Daily Bread Food Pantry.
Regarding the 2026 MHS Senior After Prom Party, it will be an all-night, substance-free event for MHS seniors and their prom guests, held at PiNZ in Milford on Friday, May 22nd. It begins immediately after prom at 11 PM, and students who check in at the door will be locked inside the building until 5 AM.
Prize tables will be featured at the party, where students can pick between Keurigs, headphones, Fire Sticks, TVs, and gift cards—all aimed at outfitting dorms or first apartments. There will also be a prize wheel, featuring bonus items like college T-shirts, candy, and coffee shop gift cards.
According to Jennifer Walsh, local businesses will support the after party with food and drinks all throughout the night. For food options, Oliva’s, Nelly’s, and Pepperoncini’s donate chicken tenders and pizzas. Additionally, Honey Dew and Dunkin’ will provide donuts and coffee. Food, iced coffee, and soda will be available throughout the night.
As for entertainment, the after party will include a live DJ, trivia, and all PiNZ attractions. Attractions will include bowling, axe throwing, and gel blasters. PiNZ also offers a breakfast buffet, and the event will end with a hypnotist performance.
Walsh mentions that the goal of this after party is to provide the senior class with an opportunity to celebrate in a safe environment.
The After Prom Committee is always seeking adult volunteers, especially parents of underclassmen, to help with setup, chaperoning, and cleanup.
Donations of prizes for the after party are welcome year-round. An Amazon Wish List is available, and fundraising continues throughout the year, including the popular Flamingo Flocking in March, when seniors’ lawns are decorated with pink flamingos for a day.
