MILFORD – Milford High School students will begin a new program next week focused on mental and emotional well-being.

The initiative comes from Ben Speaks, an organization founded in Medway by the parent of a child who died by suicide, and supported by Milford Principal Josh Otlin, whose career began during a rise in teen mental health concerns.

According to the Franklin Observer, the eight-week program — called Ben’s Challenge — will encourage students to take proactive steps toward mental, emotional, and physical health. Lessons will cover topics such as healthy eating, reducing screen time, and showing kindness and gratitude toward others.
