Charles River Bank Spreads Holiday Cheer Through Annual Angel Tree Program

As the holiday season draws near, Charles River Bank is once again extending their generosity through its annual participation in The Salvation Army of Milford’s Angel Tree Program. Every year, the bank vows to adopt between 30 and 40 local children, helping to bring holiday cheer for families in need.

Bank employees and thoughtful community members alike are invited to participate by sponsoring a child. Each participant is given a wish list created by a local child, which includes their first name, age, clothing size, and a couple of personal toy and gift requests. Wish list tags are currently up for grabs at Charles River Bank’s Medway, Bellingham, and Mendon offices. Those who cannot attend in person can email [email protected] to request a list.

All gifts are required to be new, unwrapped, and kept in a large bag with the child’s wish list tag attached. Donations must be returned to Charles River Bank’s Medway office by early December to guarantee on-time delivery to The Salvation Army.

Built in 1915, Charles River Bank—now with assets of $325 million—is fully committed to community outreach. In 2024 alone, the bank gifted more than $43,000 to local non-profit organizations. With its main office at 70 Main Street in Medway and additional locations in Bellingham, Mendon, and Medway High School, Charles River Bank continues to serve as both a trusted financial institution and a generous community partner.
