Blackstone Valley Tech’s girls’ volleyball program continued its impressive campaign, holding a 12-3 mark and maintaining a spot inside the D3 power rankings. Despite a recent loss at Minnechaug, the Beavers bounced back with a convincing 3-0 victory over Bristol-Plymouth and have won eight of their last ten matches. BVT’s sustained success is built on balance across the lineup and leadership from captains such as Nadia Shloul, Franceska Malo, and Madeline Flanagan.

To dethrone the tougher opponents on the schedule, the Beavers will need a complete showing, consistent serving, precise pass-to-set connections, and lockdown blocking. Tomorrow’s test at home versus North Middlesex (13-3) will be a high-level matchup; the Patriots are no slouch and are likely to push BVT in all phases. For the Beavers, executing on serve-receive and converting blocks into attacking opportunities will be essential.

BVT’s season thus far demonstrates depth and resilience. If the Beavers can sustain their recent form and hold serve when facing elite competition, they’ll be well-positioned for a deep postseason run and to keep climbing the state rankings.
