Northbridge’s field hockey program posted a commanding 6-2 victory over Tantasqua on Tuesday, delivering a balanced offensive performance from start to finish. After an earlier loss to Nipmuc, the Rams have responded by rattling off three straight wins over BVT, Blackstone-Millville, and now Tantasqua, combining for 12 goals while allowing only two across the last two matches.

The Rams controlled possession and used crisp passing to create high-quality chances. Their forward group finished decisively in the circle, while the midfield did the dirty work, tracking back and generating entries. The team’s recent run of form is built on strong transition play and clinical finishing in the attacking third.

Northbridge now prepares for a matchup with Quaboag Regional this afternoon. Quaboag sits at 4-3-2 and comes in with some recent momentum, meaning the Rams will need to maintain their attacking rhythm and defensive discipline. A rematch with Nipmuc next Tuesday awaits thereafter, so Northbridge will want to keep its form sharp and its scoring touch hot.
