The Hopedale Blue Raiders girls’ soccer squad is getting back on track after dropping two of their first three against Nipmuc and Uxbridge. The Blue Raiders then rattled off four straight victories over David Prouty, Notre Dame Academy, South High, and Bay Path. These victories have had stellar performances from Hopedale, with particular emphasis against South High and Bay Path.
In their last three games, Hopedale has outscored its opponents 18-3 in dominant fashion, with Analise Pinto and Josie Flemming shining brightly. In their match against Notre Dame, Analise and Josie combined for three goals and an assist, helping lead the Blue Raiders to a 4-3 victory. Despite this great production, these two found another gear in the last two matches.
Against South High, Josie and Analise both netted hat-tricks in a dominant 9-0 victory. Pinto then followed this up with another hat-trick over Bay Path in a 6-0 victory, which shows just how hot Hopedale is at the moment. They’ll look to keep the hot streak going this Saturday afternoon against the Milford Scarlet-Hawks at home. Keep an eye on Flemming and Pinto to be involved in the scoring.
