Plan ahead for Thursday night as Mass DOT will again be closing some ramps at the Interstate 90/Interstate 495 intersection. From 11pm Thursday until 5am Friday the ramp from I-495 to I-90 westbound will be closed with traffic detoured to I-90 eastbound to use Route 9 and reverse back onto I-90 westbound. They are doing this to shift traffic on I-90 near the Whitehall Brook bridge where the second stage of bridge work will reduce it down to one lane from I-495 to I-90 through to next summer.
