Those who live or work along a flood-prone stream in Milford could be getting some relief thanks to a new grant from the state. The Charles River Watershed Association and the Town of Milford have reportedly gotten a $600,000 grant toward flood mitigation and climate resilience work at the Godfrey Brook subwatershed and will also include looking at the Hospital and Obrien Brooks. Patch reports the grants will go toward a long-term study of the flooding and some possible natural solutions.
