Milford police are investigating two incidents of people being hit by cars last week, including a child. On Thursday afternoon a child who had been walking with their parents near Milford Town Park was hit by a car. The child had to be flown to UMass-Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. The driver stayed on scene and was cooperating. Police say Thursday night a driver called saying he had hit a man near the Milford Highway Department on Front Street. The man was also flown to UMass Memorial. So far, no charges have been filed against the drivers in either case.
