Milford Public Schools are getting more than $96,000 from the state toward improving literacy. It’s part of a total of more than $3 million announced last week by the Governor’s Office as part of the third round of the Partnership for Reading Success or PRISM grant. The PRISM program is aimed at improving English language arts and literacy instruction for students from 4th through 12th grades. Uxbridge Public Schools have also been tapped for this round of grants with more than $189,000.
