The Franklin Panthers baseball pipeline continues to produce standout players, and Ryan Gerety’s 2025 summer proved exactly that. The former Panther and current Northeastern University outfielder joined the Harwich Mariners in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League, where he made a significant impact during the postseason.

In six playoff appearances, Gerety hit .280 with seven hits, swiped two bases, and added steady run production in key moments. His breakout performance came in a playoff win over South Dennis, where he went 3-for-6 with an RBI, helping push the Mariners to a decisive Game 3 in their series against the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.

Though Harwich’s run ended with a 7–1 loss in the final game, Gerety’s contributions capped a year in which he also excelled for Northeastern, posting 60 hits, 34 RBIs in 59 games and earning a spot on the CAA All-Tournament Team. With his combination of speed, contact hitting, and playoff poise, Gerety will enter his junior season as one of the Huskies’ most dangerous bats. Pay to attention Gerety next year from the regular season through the summer.
