Aidan Lacier Named DVC Runner of the Year and All-Around Athlete of the Year

Nipmuc senior Aidan Lacier capped off a remarkable spring season with two major honors, DVC Spring Runner of the Year and All-Around Athlete of the Year, after an all-around display of excellence in outdoor track and field.

Lacier was a force across multiple events, setting a school record in the 100-meter dash at 10.94 seconds and finishing second in the DVC 200 meters behind teammate Gabriel Sicurella. He also logged the team’s No. 3 time in the 400 meters (54.10) and No. 4 in the 110m hurdles (18.06). At the DVC Championships, Lacier won the 100, finished runner-up in the 200, and claimed second place in the long jump at 20’11”.

By season’s end, Lacier had posted top-5 program marks in four events, delivered a conference title, and performed well at states, highlighting the depth and versatility that defined his senior campaign. These awards cap off a stellar high school career and mark Lacier as one of the most well-rounded athletes in Nipmuc history.
