The Franklin Food Pantry has gotten a major donation from BJ’s Wholesale. Pantry officials say BJ’s is donating a new refrigerated truck and two commercial cooling units. They call the donation a game-changer, saying it will dramatically improve their efficiency and expand their capacity to store and distribute fresh, healthy food. And they say it means they can feed even more people in the Franklin community that are experiencing food insecurity. The Pantry serves more than 1,800 people each year in more than 850 households and they say that number continues to grow.
