A Medway man is facing a charge of assault with a deadly weapon and more for a Friday incident that left a neighborhood cordoned off for several hours. Medway Police responded around 9:30 am to Oakland Street where they say someone had called 911 to report a man yelling at cars. Police say the suspect Adam Zwetchkenbaum was armed with a machete with which they allege he threatened officers as he ran back and forth inside his house. A perimeter was set up which included a SWAT team and MetroLEC negotiators talked to him until he gave up around 1pm. He was taken to a hospital under arrest.
