Milford Legion Baseball continued its hot start this week with back-to-back dominant victories, running its unbeaten streak to seven games. Wednesday night’s contest against Grafton mirrored the season opener’s score, as Milford powered to a 16-4 triumph just days after a 15-1 opener against the same opponent. At the plate, Sean Burchard delivered a highlight with a solo home run and three RBIs in his one-for-three performance. Brayden Lewis also paced the offense, going two-for-two with a double, a walk, and two RBIs. Catcher Keith Lee provided another spark, homering and driving in three in Tuesday’s 10-5 win over Northboro.
Center fielder Nick Koch kept the momentum rolling by going three-for-four with a homer, double, and two RBIs. On the mound, Anthony LaPierre was sharp despite yielding three unearned runs in Thursday’s game, tossing multiple innings without allowing an earned run. The bullpen staff kept Grafton at bay in the later frames, preserving the decisive lead. Next up, Milford visits Leominster Friday night, seeking its eighth straight win. After that, the team will head into the Gubby Underwood Tournament this weekend, where they’ll look to extend their dominance against top Legion competition.
