The arraignment is scheduled for today for a Franklin man charged with motor vehicle homicide, operating under the influence, and much more for a Saturday night car crash that killed a child and seriously injured two members of her family. Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey says 21-year-old James Blanchard was being held on $500,000 bail for the incident on Grove Street in which police say his truck went out of its lane and collided with the girl’s family’s car. Her brother and mother are in serious condition. Her father is now out of the hospital. Their names have not yet been released.
