The Franklin Food Pantry says the annual US Postal Service “Stamp Out Hunger” day, held this year on May 10 by Franklin Letter Carriers, raised nearly 9,000 pounds of food and household items. The Pantry says that equates to approximately 7,500 meals, for those experiencing hunger and financial hardship. The items will be distributed to clients in Franklin through The Pantry’s several programs including Inside Shopping, Home Delivery, Mobile Pantries, Weekend Backpacks, Curbside Distribution, and more.
