Panthers Face Stiff Test to Stay Undefeated

Franklin boys’ lacrosse has stormed out to a 6‑0 record this spring, continuing the program’s tradition of excellence. Behind standout goaltender Sam Freedman—recently named a finalist for the Hockomock Player of the Week after a nine‑save performance in last week’s clinic against Shrewsbury—the Panthers have combined stingy defense with balanced scoring. In that win, Freedman and defender Flynn Baker held Shrewsbury’s attack in check, while junior Thomas Quinn added two goals and an assist. Franklin’s next challenge comes Saturday at 10 AM, when the Panthers host the Bishop Feehan Shamrocks. Feehan arrives at 6‑2 and sits at 17th in state rankings, posing a formidable offensive threat. With momentum on their side, Franklin will look to maintain its unbeaten mark and secure valuable playoff positioning. The contest promises an intense battle between Franklin’s well‑rounded unit and Feehan’s high‑powered offense. Fans can catch the action at Franklin High School, where the Panthers will attempt to assert their dominance and preserve their perfect start.
