A landlord from Milford, Rui Vieira Dacosta, is facing larceny charges after allegedly collecting rent from residents in a building he sold in 2024. Dacosta told at least two renters that he still owned the property. A news release from the Milford Police Department alleges that when the information was discovered, he threatened to burn the apartment building down.
