The Medway Board of Health has put out some guidance after state officials said they suspect Bird Flu to be the cause of over 60 dead Canada geese, swans, and other birds in Plymouth. They say MassWildlife is collecting information on wild birds to monitor possible outbreaks of Avian Influenza and are particularly interested in sick and dead seabirds. They remind you never to touch them but do ask that you take pictures and report them. Officials say while Bird Flu rarely affects humans, it has been heavily impacting the poultry industry nationwide.
