By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Hopedale students who need community service hours are able to earn them by volunteering at the Bancroft Memorial Library. A Library official tells Hopedale Town News she hopes the program which began this school year will help the students have a sense of engagement and value with the library. Currently they have space for five student volunteers each month with the activities ranging from helping to prepare library programs to going outside and doing some weeding and landscaping.
