$10M State Grant to Fund 495 Connector Transit Route for Franklin

On Tuesday, the Governor’s office announced $10 million in funding to nine Regional Transit Authorities for 10 projects to increase connections. The Franklin Observer reports one is called the 495 Connector which will be a fixed route that will connect the Framingham/Worcester Line with both the Fitchburg and Franklin Commuter Rail lines and include peak-hours service from South Acton to Franklin.
